Take control of your health and add Fire Cider to your cold and flu season defense. Fire Cider is a strong tonic that will give you a good boost in your immune system. It is made of Apple Cider Vinegar, honey, and is infused with super foods to provide some amazing benefits. It is not intended for children as it is spicy, tangy and potent (non-alcoholic). A few of my kids will take it, though.

Benefits of Fire Cider

  • Anti-Inflammatory
  • Immune Booster

When I first made Fire Cider, I made the mistake of using a bottle with a narrow opening. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Make sure you have a wide mouth jar to place the Fire Cider in. When using a bottle with a narrow opening, it will be hard to clean it after you strain the cider.

Ingredients

  • 1 Wide Mouth mason jar or split into Smaller Mason Jars
  • 10 cloves Garlic
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 Jalapeno peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup peeled and diced, Horseradish
  • 2-3 sprigs, Rosemary
  • 2-3 sprigs Parsley
  • 1 Lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup Turmeric Root, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup Ginger Root, peeled and diced
  • 1 large Orange, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups Apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Raw Honey

Directions

Once you gather all of your ingredients, take a moment and prep everything. Make sure it is all washed and ready. Place the ingredients in the jar, then add the vinegar and honey. Tighten the lid and give it a good shake. Place jar in a cool dry place for 4-6 weeks. I leave mine on the counter out of reach. Strain and pour cider in jar. Either leave out on the counter or store in the refrigerator.

This time I put apples in my Fire Cider and it turned out really good!

Fire Cider’s main ingredients are apple cider vinegar and honey, two of nature’s greatest preservatives. This means it this amazing tonic is shelf stable and doesn’t need to be refrigerated.  I like ours in the refrigerator so it is totally up to you.

Suggested Dosage

Take 1 Tbsp daily to boost your immune system. At the first sign of a cold, take 1-2 Tbsp 3-4 times a day until symptoms subside.
